Thames Tideway – Phase 1 complete

On a short timescale, the TCi (GB) Ltd furniture team moved in to prepare two floors of workstation units in record time for Ashby & Croft, modular building contractors at Thames Tideway Central.

Pulling some long hours, the determined TCi crew at Tideway managed to transport more than 200 workstation and storage units to the 2nd and 4th floors, and install them ready for IT services to move in immediately.

As ever, site security, safety and compliance is of utmost importance and we are grateful for our experience in sensitive site-work which allows us the organisational skills to maximise our efficiency.
Phases 2 & 3 begin at the end of January and will include further office furniture and installation of full site welfare facilities.

The Thames Tideway Tunnel is a major new sewer, urgently needed to protect the tidal River Thames from pollution.

London’s sewerage system is no longer fit for purpose and spills millions of tonnes of sewage into the tidal section of the river every year.

Tideway is building the tunnel to tackle the problem of overflows from the capital’s Victorian sewers for at least the next 100 years, and enable the UK to meet European environmental standards.
