Furniture installations continue at Sizewell C
As part of the Sizewell C FF&E framework TCi FURNITURE WORKS has now delivered and installed several key Furniture, Fixings & Equipment (FF&E) packages
Our dedicated, Suffolk-based team have been working with local and UK manufacturing specialists to supply and fit quality products designed to provide lasting value on the Sizewell C project.
These include site welfare provisions, such as lockers and canteen tables, as well as full office setups, all within the increasing number of modular site buildings throughout the Sizewell C project.
East office - Main Construction Area, Ground Floor
The furniture installation team readied the ground floor of the East Office in Sizewell C’s Main Construction Area (MCA) for a hard opening.
As is often the case, the presence of groundworks and building contractors in and around the site posed access restrictions, but effective collaboration enabled the programme to proceed smoothly.
Previously decanted and stored furniture from an earlier part of the project was successfully loaded into HGV’s, offloaded, delivered and installed into the building; comprising, lockers and benches for 664 personnel, and 47 canteen tables with seating for 188.
