The Requirement
Design & Specification
The ground floor was configured to accommodate changing facilities, lockers and canteen areas for more than 1,000 site workers, with careful consideration given to space planning, accessibility and emergency routes. The first-floor offices incorporated spacious meeting rooms, large desk areas and practical welfare facilities, balancing functionality with a professional aesthetic.
White bench desking, integrated cable management, monitor arms and mesh-backed operator chairs were specified to create a bright, open working environment. Bespoke shelving, tambour storage units and locker systems provided practical storage while helping to define breakout and workspace areas.
A contemporary breakfast bar and high-stool arrangement complemented the staff kitchenette, while five meeting rooms featured modular boardroom tables and comfortable mesh-backed cantilever chairs.
The canteen continued the light and spacious theme with 52 white tables and 276 ergonomic seats in alternating green and blue, reflecting the Lendlease corporate colour scheme. Bespoke pigeon-hole units completed the welfare facilities.
THE outcome
