TCi (GB) Ltd attended the prestigious Considerate Constructors Scheme National Company and Supplier Awards ceremony on 3rd November, having been shortlisted for honours.

2017-Most-Considerate-SupplierThe Bideford-based firm walked away with not only a Gold award, but also the trophy for Most Considerate Supplier – an accolade more often won by large corporations.

The gold award recognises the commitment TCi has shown to the Code of Considerate Practice at the highest level, following an in-depth assessment of site activities and administration.

TCi is honoured to have also been selected to receive the very top award of the event.

Adrian Sealey, Managing Director said:

“Having won Bronze in 2016, we were absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted once again, with the hope of improving, but to win Gold AND scoop the top trophy for Most Considerate Supplier is beyond amazing for us. It’s like our industry’s equivalent to the BAFTAs. Thanks to all our customers who have given us the opportunity to operate at such a high level. We’re really proud of our delivery and installation teams and everyone who makes TCi the go-to supplier for office and welfare furniture within construction. We’re looking forward to maintaining this gold standard of service throughout 2018 and beyond!”

About the Considerate Constructors Scheme

The Considerate Constructors Scheme is a non-profit-making, independent organisation founded in 1997 by the construction industry to improve its image.

Construction sites, companies and suppliers voluntarily register with the Scheme and agree to abide by the Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.

The Scheme is concerned about any area of construction activity that may have a direct or indirect impact on the image of the industry as a whole. The main areas of concern fall into three categories: the general public, the workforce and the environment.
