TCi (GB) Ltd fleet achieves FORS Bronze!

As a result of some excellent work from our logistics team and some intense driver training, TCi (GB) Ltd can proudly announce that we are running a FORS Bronze accredited fleet of vehicles.

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is recognised as the standard of good practice for all commercial and has become a standard requirement for construction site traffic within London. With a growing number of vehicles entering the capital every day, the scheme focuses on awareness of vulnerable road users (pedestrians and cyclists) and environmental considerations.

Through a process of driver training aids and exams to demonstrate driver awareness, the FORS Bronze programme has helped all our vehicle users to gain a better understanding of the steps that can be taken to be safer and greener on the city’s roads. The scheme also mandates a process of daily vehicle safety checks and good practice which is expected to increase efficiency throughout the fleet, whether we are in London or elsewhere in the country.

The TCi (GB) Ltd fleet, although already meeting many of the strict criteria, has been updated to include recommended safety signage and features. These include enhanced mirror visibility and audible reversing warning systems.

With a UK-wide commercial furniture delivery and installation service, our customers can be confident that our vehicles comply with this recognised accreditation and our drivers have been trained to promote safety and environmental considerations in their work.

We are now working steadily on meeting the criteria for FORS Silver!
